Our Incubation Team focuses on prototyping new ideas, new game concepts, new franchises, and the incubation of new studios with the ambitious vision to create genre defining games for the next generation of players. This is one of those unique opportunities that only happen once in a lifetime.
The Role
Our studio is looking for an experienced Art Manager to join a character-driven action game in its incubation. Using expert knowledge of your craft, management, and game development, you will join a project in its incubation and help develop and support a high performing Art Department and processes to deliver world-class content.
The ideal candidate is a skilled manager and artist who is highly experienced in helping establish process and drive collaboration amongst a multidisciplinary group of artists, designers, and engineers. The Art Manager will be responsible for helping to manage and lead a portion of the Art Department, working to uphold the artistic vision of the title, advocate for best practices, and build and manage relationships with content creation partners.

- You have a strong understanding of visual design principals and content creation pipelines and workflows in at least one discipline.
What You Will Do:
- Work closely with discipline leads to develop clear and effective processes.
- Work closely with the Art Director to evolve and evangelize the artistic vision of the game.
- Manage a portion of the Art Department – develop a cadence of feedback to help develop artists skills, interpersonal communication, and careers.
- Address technical and creative roadblocks as they arise.
- Provide feedback on content, workflows, and tools.
- Articulate and uphold artistic vision of title both internally and externally.
Qualifications:
- Experience as an art discipline lead.
- Experience developing Pipeline tools or processes on a shipped game.
- Expert knowledge in one or more content creation suite.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate between technical and artistic language.

- Experience shipping with Unreal Engine.
