10 Chambers is a fully funded scale-up game studio backed by Tencent and based in the beautiful city of Stockholm, Sweden. We are an ambitious, creative, and collaborative team with a lifelong love for games.
We are now working on our next project, a cooperative heist FPS in a techno-thriller setting - Den of Wolves. Originated and directed by Ulf Andersson, the game designer of Payday the Heist & Payday 2.
As an Art Manager your focus will be on supporting, mentoring, and empowering our Art Leads to achieve their best work. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that the art department runs smoothly, that resources are efficiently allocated, and that the art teams are able to deliver.
Key tasks
- Provide day-to-day assistance & mentorship to our Art leads, including regular one-on-one meetings to address challenges and support their needs.
- Assist leads in achieving their team's quality and production goals.
- Facilitating smooth communication between the different Art leads
- Together with the leads, support the development of our artists.
- Help resolve any personnel or workflow challenges within the teams.
- Monitor and report on team performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to address them
- Manage the hiring and onboarding of new art team members.
- Support the Art Production Director in strategic planning for the art department.
- Ensure that team members and Leads have the resources and training they need to succeed.
Required qualifications
- +6 years’ working as a 3D artist in the video games industry
- +3 years working in art management or leadership role within the games industry.
- Strong ability to mentor and develop Art Leads and senior artists.
- Great knowledge of Maya / 3Ds / blender or equivalent
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with a focus on problem-solving and resource management.
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate.
- Excellent command of English (Swedish is not a requirement)
Bonus qualifications
- Previous experience working as an Art Manager on a released AAA game.
