Art Director

Duties & Responsibility:

• Maintain existing art style with existing EVE related projects
• Develop and guide new visual concepts for upcomign games
• Deep understanding of Global gaming markets
• Deep understanding of Western game artistic styles
• Create solutions to game design requirements, troubleshoot problems and coach artists
• Conduct critiques with clear and consistent feedback to art team
• Direct art team in the vision, ensure art team delivers innovative artworks and all work is done at the quality level matching up with the rest of the game.
• Facilitate communication between art and all departments to execute on projects' visions.
• Work with other disciplines such as Design and Engineering to build features or improve engine tech that will benefit visual/art creation
• Contribute in planning, collaborate with Production to make sure things are delivered on time
• Drive refining Art pipeline and Art production process
• Drive development of art reference guides for internal and external artists
• Strong communication and problem solving skills

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of game industry experience
• Experienced in executing design vision and providing art feedback
• Experienced in guiding art creation for Sci-fi game genres or with futuristic setting
• Experienced in 2D &3D art, authoring packages
• Experienced in techincal art
• Fluent in English and Chinese
