ART CENTER MANAGER (m/f/d) - 5344

In this role, you own the overall art discipline and expertise in the studio. With passion for the craft, you define standard for art quality across all games in studio and explores art style for new games. You push the quality bar within our products to create a unique visual experience for each game in a timely fashion. It is a leadership role, which provide regular direction, mentoring and coaching to all artist across studio. You are also responsible for performance stability and ensure the continuous evolving and knowledge sharing within the team.Responsibilities
- Make sure the art assets meet the high-quality bar for all games
- Work with teams to define the art style for new games
- Optimize the art production process to meet the needs of project teams
- Expand and maintain the relationship between studio and external art expertise and vendors
- Hire, develop, mentor and supervise all studio artist
- Manage the artist ressource across multiple types of projects
- Maintain the performance in the team: identify high performers and ensure their steady nature, identify the less performers and ensure their improvement
- Organize knowledge and experience sharing meetings within the team
Requirements
- University degree in the fields of Art, Design or comparable qualification
- 6+ years’ experience in creative game development, especially artistic vision of a game or project
- Expert in conception and production for both 2D and 3D assets
- Strong own portfolio showing advanced 2D and 3D skills
- Excellent knowledge of the mobile market and the overall gaming business
- Excellent leadership skills able to motivate teams and individuals, encourage ownership, recognize good talent and bring out the best of each employee
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to manage conflict
- Experience in expanding art teams and recruiting artists
- Knowledgeable with varieties of art styles not limited to games
- Resourceful in getting work done and proactive in every way
- Ability to work in a fast-pace environment and prioritize work to meet specific deadlines
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Passion for games
- Fluent in written and spoken English
