Your Mission
We are looking for a Data Analyst who will work in the Application Security department, reporting to the Director of the newly formed Application Security Strategy team. The team’s mission is to measure application security risk within our studio environments while introducing strategic mechanisms to treat and reduce risk.
The Application Security Data Analyst will support our growing data needs across the department. The position will be responsible for building out BI dashboards, conducting ad-hoc data analysis projects, and using data to inform strategic plans. This role will get to craft a data capability and help drive the department’s data-informed culture.
If you are a strategic problem solver with a collaborative and can-do attitude, we would love to hear from you! We encourage you to apply if this role excites you – even if you think you may not meet all of the requirements.
Responsibilities
Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
- Collaborate with domain experts to develop Tableau dashboards and reports that provide transparency into the state of application security across the company.
- Conduct data analytics projects using languages such as Python, R, SQL, and common open-source tools for data analysis. Projects will typically require the extraction and transformation of data from third party services such as Splunk, Workday, and Security scanning tools.
- Help establish metrics and measures to evaluate application security capability maturity and application security needs across the Company.
- Co-create a lightweight method for the modelling and quantification of application security risk.
- Support the design and implementation of a Net Promotor style metric to measure the value of the Information Security team’s engagement with game studios.
- Contribute to the creation of data-informed reports and planning documentation.
- Be part of a new team championing a data-informed culture.
