Apple Compliance Specialists (QA)

Job Description

1. Main hands-on QA point of contact for Apple stores topics on assigned titles
2. Autonomously test and report bugs on all Apple stores technical and non-technical requirements
3. Ensure bugs have the right level of logical and technical detail (no need for information requests from game developers)
4. Be equipped to find the root cause of bugs which QA can investigate autonomously
5. Be ready to escalate more complex bugs which might endanger a successful submission
6. Stay informed on the latest Apple stores technical developments and requirements updates
7. Mentor other QA staff as part of proactively finding ways to share your knowledge inside the QA department
8. Work closely with Game Teams and QA Management to define tests’ acceptance criteria, identify risks and plan testing coverage for upcoming releases
9. Build test strategies in line with project schedule and QA strategy, or find improvements for existing ones
10. Prepare and send Compliance QA reports, validating the title for submission

Qualifications

1. Thorough know-how of all Apple stores requirements
2. Thorough know-how of testing methodologies and bugs lifecycle
3. Minimum 1 year of Apple Functionality / Compliance QA testing experience
4. Shipped at least 1 game on any Apple store
5. Hands on experience with the Apple stores submission process
6. Technical and process platform-specific knowledge
7. Basic knowledge of programming concepts would be a plus
8. Familiar with the video game development process and environment
9. Good spoken and written communication skills
10. Excellent English skills
11. Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
12. Experience working with bug tracking and documentation tools (Jira, Confluence)
13. Ability to quickly adapt or research new technologies
14. Be a team player, while having great work ethics
15. Sharp observation and analytical skills with a proactive mindset
16. Fully autonomous
17. A passion for video games
