Animation/TechArt/VFX Art Manager

Job Overview

Worldwide famous project – WoT PC is looking for a Animation/TechArt/VFX Art Manager to join experienced and highly skilled team!

Directly reports to Art Director

What will you do?

• Animation/VFX/Techart team management
• Resource management and quality assurance
• Assigning available employees to the streams in accordance with their skillsets, previous experience, and availability
• Process and pipelines effectiveness review and upgrade
• Planning and managing budgets
• Conducting employee performance management together with producers
• Team motivation and retention
• Employee career development planning
• Collaborating with the HR department regarding hiring new staff, on-boarding and training

What are we looking for?

• 2 years+ of experience in a leadership role (team members count 7+)
• Strong communication, problem solving skills
• Experience in game development
• Experience in VFX or Animation or TechArt is an advantage
• Advanced English and Russian language skills
• General understanding and interest in either Animation, TechArt or VFX art

General knowledge and understanding of the animation process (rig, skin, animation)

General knowledge and understanding of the effects creation process

General knowledge and understanding of the process of creating models and working with the engine
