Animation Director
We create ambitious games in a quietly awesome culture.
That simple statement is at the heart of what we do here at Possibility Space. Founded by a diverse and experienced team of game and media industry veterans, we are built from the ground up as a distributed studio, allowing developers to live and work where they are happiest. We strive to create an environment where we can do our best work regardless of what we look like, who we love, or how we identify. With support operations in New Orleans, Louisiana, the studio also works to identify, mentor, train, and hire individuals from underserved and overlooked communities and backgrounds.
Possibility Space is seeking an Animation Director to help bring our fantastical original IP to life. Are you passionate about storytelling? Do you love creating charming moments in games that can delight and surprise players?
The Animation Director will work closely with the Art Director and Design Director to define the animation tone and style for a new IP title. They will manage the production of animation content and develop an effective animation pipeline for our new title.
They will collaborate closely with design and creative leadership to develop the role of animation for our unique gameplay. They will be the bridge from design to animation and code and help ensure that they establish strong direction and consistency across all contributors to the project, both internal and external.
In applying for this job, please provide a link to a portfolio or demo reel of your work. We also strongly recommend you include a cover letter with your application, telling us a bit about who you are and why you want to work at Possibility Space.
