Analytics Engineer

Are you a meticulous Analytics Engineer with experience in data product development? And savvy in SQL based data modeling—Snowflake, DBT or similar tools & ETL processes?

As an Analytics Engineer at Metacore, you can freely define the best way to support all game teams in their data tooling needs – as long as it respects our company culture. That requires a highly proactive approach to work, from ensuring our data analysts have reliable data to analyze to improving data management processes. In addition to SQL based data modeling—Snowflake, DBT and ETL processes, you’ll get to work with supportive, talented and ambitious colleagues who’ll never hesitate to share an extra mile with you. In this key role, you would...

• Gather business requirements and work closely with data analysts and the whole game development team
• Define KPI’s and understand why certain things are modeled in order to produce solutions independently
• Maintain our technical data pipeline and data models
• Improve data management processes including collection, processing and storage
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve data quality and performance issues

Which requires expertise like...

• 5+ years of experience in data product development
• Expert knowledge of SQL based data modeling and cloud data warehouses like Snowflake
• Savvy in DBT or similar tools, and maintaining very large scale ETL processes
• Knowledge of build, deployment and orchestration tools (Jenkins, Terraform, TeamCity) is appreciated
• Experience with AWS data stack (Kinesis, Athena+S3+Glue), Tableau and Git is an added bonus too
