Job Description:

We are looking for a passionate and creative Analytics Director interested in pushing our understanding and the performance of the In- App Purchase (IAP) & Economy product domain as a part of the Candy Crush Saga game team. You will get the opportunity to be part of an excellent team, where we innovate on an industry leading and genre defining game with over 200 million active players!

Your role within the Kingdom:

As an Analytics Director in the IAP & Economy product area, you will be working with cross functional partners in a lively, dynamic and fast- paced environment. You’ll set our analysts up for success while also taking an important role in driving strategy and the development of new features and experiences to delight our players and grow our business.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop our analysts by setting them up for success:
    - Participate and drive all stages of people processes such as personal development planning and end of year processes
    - Provide analysts excellent opportunities to grow their skills and careers in King and help to foster their professional development

  • Help guide and contribute to work as a senior craft representative:
    -
    Provide active analytical input to product work streams in the area (and hands- on contribution as needed)
    - Identify opportunities to make the product better and collaborate with product managers to drive towards execution, while making well rounded decisions about short and long term product impact
    - Help frame and shape key insights and drive towards action across teams, the area and King as needed

  • Experimentation loop, business performance & strategy:
    - Define best practices, templates and overall process for how to go from idea to insight generation and action for experiments
    - Own the process and format for business performance and experimentation reporting
    - Assist across the area for defining the right ways and metrics to track efforts to understand strategic traction and make sure there are pragmatic way to do continuous tracking of progress

Skills to create thrills

You are a passionate problem solver and have the ability to draw data driven business insights that will add real value to King. You are an excellent communicator with experience managing a variety of different stakeholders. You are proactive and demonstrate the desire to learn quickly and work in a fast paced and collaborative environment whilst communicating effectively with teams and individuals across King.

Experience and capabilities that would suit this role:

  • You have experience in a data/analytics leadership role and know what it takes to set people up for success
  • You have previous hands on experience working with a B2C digital product and can comfortably talk about what good looks like in terms of the analytical process
  • Prior experience in an industry with very short implementation cycles such as digital products and services or games
  • Highly analytical, an excellent understanding of data and statistics, with the ability to interpret data with confidence and drive through your recommendations
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn new skills
