The People Science & Analytics team at Roblox supports various internal functions by creating data-driven applications and solutions that enhance our operational efficiency and organizational insights. Our team collaborates to develop and manage tools that support internal workflows, optimize employee experiences, and streamline customer interactions. This role offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic team dedicated to transforming data into actionable insights through custom applications and automation. You will join a team of skilled data scientists and engineers focused on architecting and maintaining robust applications that drive data-informed decisions across Roblox.
You Will:
- Partner with cross-functional teams to design and implement applications for internal HR management, performance tracking, and CRM solutions.
- Develop and maintain workflow automation tools by integrating various APIs and databases to streamline internal processes and reduce manual workload.
- Create data entry forms and admin dashboards, empowering internal teams with tools to input, manage, and visualize data without direct database access.
- Build customer support applications that enhance ticket management and customer interaction capabilities, improving overall service quality.
- Drive development initiatives to automate and optimize reporting, analytical requests, and long-term application needs.
You Have:
- 10+ years of experience as an app developer with a strong focus on creating data-centric applications and tools.
- Expertise in JavaScript, SQL, and Python, with demonstrated experience in application development.
- Proven experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or similar, with additional experience in ReTool considered a major plus.
- Solid understanding of data management and analytics, with a background in creating scalable applications for diverse internal stakeholders.
- Intellectual curiosity and adaptability to learn new technologies quickly, along with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Roles that are based in our San Mateo, CA Headquarters are in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional in-office on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
