The role will provide the successful candidate with exposure to a unique organisation that delivers digital game development, product development, manufacturing operations, and operates across B2B and B2C profiles.
This position plays a pivotal role within the Group Risk and Audit function, assisting in the delivery of insurance services across Aristocrat. The role is key to protection of Aristocrat’s people, operations and customers, and critical to supporting the organisation’s strategic objectives by:
• Supporting the annual insurance renewal, ensuring that Aristocrat has
appropriately protected itself against insurable risks through program
structure;
• Reviewing contracts to ensure Aristocrat is operating within risk tolerance
and sufficiently transferring risk where appropriate;
• Partnering with the business to assess risks, both current and emerging,
to drive insight, challenge and help deliver on the business’s commitments
and strategy through the global insurance program;
• Providing insurance advice and guidance to stakeholders across the
business; and
• Supporting the design and completion of key risk deliverables.
The successful candidate will be able to manage a diverse set of global policies, multiple competing priorities, and diverse stakeholders, both internally and externally. They will partner closely with all areas of the business globally to embed the insurance program within Aristocrat.
The Analyst – Insurance and Risk will report to the Director – Enterprise Risk Management and, based on the global nature of the role, will operate across multiple business units and time zones and require some travel (once it is safe to resume) to ensure satisfactory execution of responsibilities.

- Serve as a point of contact for internal and external customers for insurance and risk management related needs or inquiries;
- Support development and execution of insurance and risk management strategies related to the design, negotiation and implementation of certain insurance programs for Aristocrat globally;
- Assist in the identification of risk within the organisation and support the business in determining appropriate risk financing alternatives;
- Support the annual insurance renewal process including the collection of exposure data and review of terms and conditions;
- Support immediate post-renewal activities inlcuding tracking and payment of master and local premium invoices, ensuring auto fleet insurance identification cards are distributed and issuance of certificates of insurance for compliance and customer demand purposes;
- Review contracts and other agreements to determine alignment and compliance with the company’s risk appetite and insurance programs;
- Assist in day-to-day operations of insurance function including policy administration and certificates of insurance for contractual compliance;
- Oversee and manage claims emanating from the company’s operations and evaluate coverage applicability;
- Work with Aristocrat’s insurance broker(s) to determine insurance and risk financing program design and needs, globally;
- Assist in the development and delivery of key risk management documents, including Risk Registers and Business Resilience Plans; and
- Help to deliver risk and insurance training across the business.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in the field of Finance or Accounting.
- One to three years of applicable experience.
- Worked with a global insurance program with multi-regional experience/responsibility.
- Thorough knowledge of Property, Casualty and Financial lines of insurance.
- Experience in contract review and certificates of insurance.
- Managed multiple stakeholders and multiple deliverables across tight deadlines.
- Experience in gaming/technology organisations would be favourably viewed.
- Working knowledge of business operations, processes and governance.
- Resilient, steadfast in their views and always independent and objective.
- A strong communicator with an ability to translate technical and detailed information into a clear and easy to understand message and influence across all levels of the organisation.
- A critical thinker and able to challenge the status quo and drive change.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proactive and organised and able to work in a fast-paced team environment providing consistent, high quality output.
- Persistent and dedicated to get the outcome that’s beneficial for both Aristocrat and internal customers.
