We are looking for an Agile Coach to observe, analyze and improve teams of developers and overall project management by increasing collaboration, innovation, and introducing techniques and processes that promote adaptability and flexibility in the face of unpredictable circumstances.
Responsibilities:
- Continuously observing and analyzing existing technics, procedures and processes to provide R&D management current status of the teams
- Works directly with scrum masters, teams and RnD Managers to help them improve their agile mindset and practices
- Employs teaching, mentoring, and professional coaching techniques as appropriate for the circumstances and people to increase the agile knowledge, mindset and execution of agile principles of the coaches
- Exposes our teams to the latest innovative thinking and ideas from the Agile community to increase agility
- Draws from multiple frameworks and developmental models to provide a customized coaching approach to team/individual
- Incorporates strong and fast feedback loops in the coaching practice to improve both the agility of the coaches and the coaching itself
Responsibilities
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience with Information Technology, working with Agile Software Delivery environments and driving organization through transformational changes
- 5+ years’ experience and knowledge with agile techniques, processes, tools that enable the rapid definition, design, build, test and integration of the solution
- 5+ years’ experience leading Agile training sessions/workshops and creating training decks
- Experience coaching and building software development teams with emphasis on Continuous Integration, Automated Testing, Test Driven Development (TDD) and/or Behavior Driven Development (BDD) and Continuous Delivery
- Extensive experience with one or more agile tools such as Jira, Rally etc., preferably Jira and agile frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, DevOps, etc.
- Possesses a comprehensive understanding of how each area in Information Services (i.e. Architecture, design, development, test, deployment and operations) collectively integrate to contribute towards achieving business objectives
- Prior experience working with senior executives and proven ability to effectively communicate and influence senior executives in decisions critical to adoption and implementation of Agile practice
- Demonstrate strong knowledge and understanding of agile values & principles and passion for continuous learning, for example having advanced agile certifications including advance professional coaching certifications or relevant formal education.
Communication Skills:
- Ability to explain technical concepts to technical or non-technical personnel
- Ability to read, write, and interpret business and technical documents
- Excellent presentation development and delivery skills
- Understanding Agile Principles and methodologies as well as applying them in a team context
- Great understanding of the Scrum framework and artifacts (such as Accept Criteria, DoD and DoR, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good written and spoken English
