Blizzard is looking for a pro-active, motivated, and highly organized professional to function as an Administrative Assistant. The chosen candidate will join our team of highly skilled Admins with a targeted career path within the Administrative discipline. This role is expected to begin as a remote position.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the daily Out Report and adjust timesheets as needed
• Assist in organizing various special meetings, team activities, merchandise distribution, and team special events (Shared responsibility – only support, not management or planning/execution with vendors)
• Organize new hire lunches, maintain employee of the day (new hire) questionnaire surveys and employee headshots in confluence
• Assist with planning meetings and conference calls, including calls across multiple time zones around the globe
• Facilitate catering requests and basic IT requests (Shared responsibility, especially for crunch and ongoing recurrences)
• Assisting Facilities and IT with coordinating smaller sub-team moves
• Act as the backup contact for building maintenance, beautification initiatives, and facilities requests
• Pick up mail, supplies and/or deliveries from shipping department, vendors or stores, and deliver/set up at events, meetings and team areas.
• Organize swag giveaways for the team
• Coordinate travel for conventions and events, including visa and passport paperwork
• Perform regular walkthroughs of the team space including conference room maintenance to ensure our facilities are in good order and any issues are resolved (When back in the office; Currently WFH due to COVID)
• Ensure office supplies and printer inks are stocked
• Cultivate and maintain a pleasant and productive office environment
• Handle other duties as needed

Requirements

• Knowledge of Blizzard Franchises
• Experience or related experience in an Administrative Role
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Impeccable organizational and time-management abilities
• Self-starting personality with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Exceptional attention to detail as well as ability to see the big picture
• Ability to act with integrity and discretion when handling confidential matters
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
