Achievement Hunter - Social Media Intern

Rooster Teeth is looking for a Social Media Intern to join our Achievement Hunter team in Austin, TX for our Spring Internship Program!
The ideal candidate would have a passion for and knowledge of YouTube, digital entertainment, video games, and the world of social media. The candidate would also have a proven track record of completing projects efficiently, be detail-oriented, and possess the ability to think outside-the- box to support and fulfill the strategic objectives of a highly cross-functional organization. In your time with us, you will learn how the AH Social Media Manager does alllllll the things, as well as day-to- day skills on how to support teams and projects. You will use your creativity to ideate content ideas, create gifs, and copy write for our Twitter, Facebook, TikTok, and IG accounts!

CANDIDATES MUST BE CURRENTLY ENROLLED IN COLLEGE - APPLICANTS THAT DO NOT MEET THIS REQUIREMENT WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with idea generation and writing copy for social media posts
- Create and schedule posts on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and other social platforms
- Collaborate with bigger social media teams to develop creative content
- Source show assets including screenshots, clips and gifs
- Communicate, interact with, and moderate the Rooster Teeth Community
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in college
- Candidate will be working remote to start, but needs to have the ability to be onsite in Austin, TX should that become an option later
- Excellent written communication.
- Experienced with most social media platforms, including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok
- On top of new social media trends with the motivation to contribute
- Energetic and creative with the ability to make bland copy into great social posts
- Familiar with the world of gaming, animation, podcasts, YouTubers, and Rooster Teeth content
- Proficient in Photoshop. Knowledge of Premiere Pro is a big plus!
- Being able to roll with the punches and have a good attitude under pressure
