Accounts Payable Clerk (Temporary, Full-time)

WHO YOU ARE

We are looking for a full cycle Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team! You will will assist our Accounts’ Payable department with invoice entry and filing for multiple companies.

This is a temporary, entry-level position. Up to a 6 month engagement.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Will assist in receiving and reviewing invoices from vendors.
• Will assist in daily reviewing and responding to emails in the AP inbox.
• Will assist in matching invoices to PO and obtaining approvals from operational managers for payments.
• Will assist with the timely and accurate coding of invoices, which may require correcting departments and natural accounts.
• Will assist with maintaining vendor records and filing; including both electronic and paper invoice copies.
• May be assigned other tasks and responsibilities as needs may arise.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

• Degree in or progress towards a bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field is preferred.
• Good organization skills, time management and strict adherence to deadlines and closing schedules, ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently.
• Attention to detail and high accuracy is required.
