Accounts Payable, Marketing (Contract)

Blizzard Entertainment is looking for an experienced accounts payable team member to manage operations for global growth marketing purchase orders, invoicing and accounts payable processes.

As an ideal candidate should be extremely detailed oriented, have a background in finance and accounting, and can manage the on-time accounts payable processes. Candidates should have experience with complex business organizational models including international or cross-franchise payments and accruals.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable processes for media and software partners
• Manage vendor setup, establish purchase orders, and manage approvals
• Ensure timely and payment of invoices
• Track, reconcile and report on invoices received, paid, and outstanding
• Work with marketing teams to review spend levels against PO’s and budgets
• Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing vendors

Requirements

• A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in finance, accounting, or accounts payable
• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience in relevant field
• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
• Self-motivated with strong initiative
• Able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment

Pluses

• Experience at an international organization with multiple business units
• Experience working within an agency, and/or experience managing POs/Invoicing on an in-house media buying team
• Experience working at an entertainment and/or gaming company
• Graduate degree in relevant field
