Accounts Payable Lead

Osmo is looking for a well-rounded and motivated performer who thrives in a fast paced, demanding environment to take on substantially scaling our accounting operations.

You will have a range of responsibilities related to the oversight, management, and scalability of Osmo’s day-to-day accounting operations.

Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable invoice process - includes managing inbox, entry into ERP System (NetSuite), solving unpaid problem invoices, and obtaining appropriate approvals
• Prepare and record monthly accrual journal entries
• Initiate, review and reconcile vendor purchase orders with invoices
• Manage weekly check runs
• Manage accounting for credit card spend and corporate card program
• Reconcile monthly bank and key account statements
• Implement and maintain systems, procedures and policies, including accounts payable functions to company guidelines
• Ensure adherence to company guidelines
• Manage monthly closing of AP records
• Maintain AP files and year-end files

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• NetSuite experience is a MUST. Familiarity with Salesforce / NetSuite interface is a huge plus
• 5+ years of working experience within a consumer electronics / hardware sales focused enterprise
• Must be familiar working in a high volume and inventory-intensive environment.
• A thorough understanding of a three way matching system (purchase order and receiving) is required.
• Experience with accounts payable is a must and exposure to several areas of accounting (e.g. general ledger accounting, revenue accounting, financial reporting, control environment, SOX compliance, fixed assets, accounts receivable, consolidations, etc.)
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong organizational, analytical and account reconciliation skills.
• Ability to work with vendors and employees at all levels of the organization promptly and professionally
• Ability to work well in a team environment
