Accounts Payable Clerk – 12m Contract
THE POSITION
Miniclip is looking for Accounts Payable Clerk to assist our finance department in Lisbon (PT) Office. This is a full-time position, reporting to the Accounting & Compliance Manager. Please apply only if you have the right to work in Portugal.
The ideal candidate will be someone comfortable working without direct supervision with experience in working with teams based in different countries.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage incoming invoices processing, incl. posting in an accurate and timely manner and in compliance with company policies and local standards
- Manage expense claims (business travel and other expenses) processing, incl. posting and checking of internal guidelines and procedures
- Address and respond to vendor inquires
- Perform monthly reconciliations
- Assist in the monthly payment run
- Other standard GL journal entries as required
EXPERIENCE / SKILLS
- 3-5 years of experience in accounts payable
- Minimum of High School Diploma
- Deep and broad understanding of accounts payable incl. VAT regulations
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- High degree of attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset, comfortable in dealing with all levels of the organization
- Team player, results and quality oriented
- Experience in a share service environment (preferential)
- Fluent in English, written and spoken (mandatory)
- Solid MS Office knowledge (word, excel and outlook)
