Accounts Payable Assistant (Contract)

Epic Games is looking for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join the team as a contractor. The person in this role will be tasked with assisting the Accounting team in all areas of accounts payable. The ideal candidate has a customer service attitude, is extremely detail oriented, and possesses an ability to work independently.

Responsibilities include:

• Manage supplier database by reviewing and approving new suppliers submitted through Workday ERP; liaise with external suppliers for information requests and/or updates
• Work with third party to validate Form W-9s and W-8s for suppliers and multiple categories of mass payees
• Assist with year-end 1099 & 1042-S tax reporting
• Assist with accounts payable invoice entry and various other data entry needs

Requirements:

• Extreme attention to detail
• Background in accounting/finance
• Intermediate to advanced excel skills and experience working with large data files
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Large ERP experience (Workday a plus)
• Good organization and time management skills
