Accounts Assistant - 12 month fixed term contract

Job Description
Mission
- Lead the Accounts Payable process and manage our relationship with a wide range of suppliers
- Assist with the completion of month end (A range of journals including accruals and prepayments, Reconciliations, Analysis, Intercompany AR and AP)
- Complete monthly financial reconciliations
- Manage payments using our banking software and perform bank reconciliations.
- Support the Financial Controller in the day-to-day running of the finance department.
- Identify & support ongoing improvement projects within the sphere of finance.
- Other ad-hoc finance related tasks
Qualifications
This role demands resilience, agility, cultural sensitivity, a great sense of humour and in addition :
Level 4 AAT or equivalent
Solid knowledge and experience within a hands-on finance role
- High standard of verbal and written communication skills
- Strong practical application of Microsoft Excel
- Experience of Peoplesoft and Kyriba would be beneficial
- Good organizational skills
- Reliable & great team spirit
- Ability to make decisions quickly
- Ability to work effectively in a fast paced changing environment
