Accounts Assistant - 12 month fixed term contract

Job Description

Mission

• Lead the Accounts Payable process and manage our relationship with a wide range of suppliers
• Assist with the completion of month end (A range of journals including accruals and prepayments, Reconciliations, Analysis, Intercompany AR and AP)
• Complete monthly financial reconciliations
• Manage payments using our banking software and perform bank reconciliations.
• Support the Financial Controller in the day-to-day running of the finance department.
• Identify & support ongoing improvement projects within the sphere of finance.
• Other ad-hoc finance related tasks

Qualifications

This role demands resilience, agility, cultural sensitivity, a great sense of humour and in addition :

Level 4 AAT or equivalent

Solid knowledge and experience within a hands-on finance role

• High standard of verbal and written communication skills
• Strong practical application of Microsoft Excel
• Experience of Peoplesoft and Kyriba would be beneficial
• Good organizational skills
• Reliable & great team spirit
• Ability to make decisions quickly
• Ability to work effectively in a fast paced changing environment
