Job Overview:

As the Accounting Manager, you will be hands on, managing and overseeing all aspects of accounting operations and areas of financial reporting, including preparing, analyzing, verifying, and reporting financial information for our company. This person will support critical pieces of our accounting infrastructure, including (but not limited to), executing a streamlined month-end close process, manage AP and procure to pay process, and recording cash transactions. This person will be a critical part of a visible, cross-functional team at a fast-paced gaming company.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of day to day accounting operations
• Manage and monitor the month end and quarter end close accounting close to ensure deadlines are met and all items are recorded
• Lead preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements and analyses, including the Statement of Cash Flows and Balance Sheet
• Financial analyses, including variance analysis and forecasting
• Prepare and review monthly journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations and reports
• Lead collaboration efforts with external auditors on audit requests
• Ongoing review of accounting policies and processes; assist in research, development and implementation of new or updated company policies and processes
• Special projects and ad hoc requests as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, CPA or CPA path preferred
• 3-6 years of general accounting experience, supervisory experience preferred
• Full understanding and experience with general accounting, strong financial analysis skills required
• Ability to design and lead the monthly close process as well as the monthly account/system reconciliations. Maintain close schedule and make adjustments as necessary
• Expert proficiency in Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, etc.)
• Understanding of US GAAP/IFRS as well as financial analysis and forecasting
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
