We’re looking for an Accounting Manager that will team up with our Finance Director and steer the financial accounting agenda. You’ll be joining a small team consisting of a Finance Director and three financial accountants, the team works closely with our colleagues overseas as well as external partners.
This is a great opportunity for you to work in a small team but still get the advantage of being part of an international group, where we are responsible for ensuring compliance when business is conducted worldwide.

What you will be doing:
The person we are looking for will play an integral part in the Finance department with responsibility for managing and overseeing the daily operations, including monthly- and annual closings. In the closing process, you´ll have the overall responsibility for the reconciliations, perform necessary variance analysis and quality control. Further on, you’ll prepare and review financial reporting, both internal and external, and be the go-to person regarding accounting.
To be successful in this role you should be able to work towards strict deadline but still enjoy being part of a fun team. You will take ownership of this role taking the accounting “from A to Z”. You should be passionate about teamwork and contributing to a pleasant work environment, where the team is motivated and enjoy coming to work every day. We will expect you as Accounting Manager to contribute to levelling up the Finance team.
Requirements
- 10+ years' experience in accounting.
- Independently understand, prepare and complete all parts of monthly- and annual closings.
- Strong ability to analyze, compile and communicate reporting.
- Ability to prepare and complete the audit process as well as the annual reports.
- Fluency in Swedish is a requirement since you’ll be responsible for last check-ups on reports and closings, as well as read legal documents. You also have to be comfortable with the English terminology since you’ll be joining an international environment.
- Ability to be flexible and work outside of normal working hours, since meetings with the Redmond office may occur on evenings and due to peaks around month end close.
Solid experience in accounting is imperative, but to succeed as an Accounting manager you will also need great interpersonal skills. To succeed in this role we believe that you are analytical, have a strong ability to take action and takes it upon yourself to find solutions to any situation coming your way. You’re prestigeless, flexible and responds well to unexpected demands, since you’ll be joining a small team and collaborate with our Redmond office in another time-zone. We believe that you’ll be the go-to person within accounting, which requires you to be communicative and confident. To succeed in your mission to level up the whole team, you have a coaching approach and a strong willingness to share your knowledge.
