Accounting Intern

Job Description

Responsibility

1. Taxes:

a. Prepare the VAT input details file every month

b. Input VAT fapiao certificate and reconciliation with GL records

c. With the new VAT rules published in April 2019, you will help to pre-calculate the VAT breakdown of transit receipt/invoices

d. Withholding tax assistance (help to document the process and timeline and assist with preparing the documents for application)

2. Full-cycle Accounting

a. Reimbursement: Pre-check the staff reimbursement reports and the supporting invoices attached (VAT title, VAT number, Amount and Content)

b. Accounts Payable (weekly payment): File VAT fapiao received from purchasers and pre-check the fapiao information; Help preparing the weekly payment documents

c. Accounts Receivable (billing): Issue monthly VAT fapiao from the Gold Tax station

d. General Ledger: Prepare monthly GL entries for Bihan entity, which will be reviewed and posted by by Bihan Accountant

3. Other duties:

a. Contract cover: create cover in the contract system and print out the paper cover for review by Bihan Accountant

b. Prepare weekly payment and PRM check

c. File vouchers after month end closing

d. Other Ad hoc tasks by line Manager

Qualifications

Qualification

1. Major in Accounting or finance, senior level will be preferred

2. Guarantee full time (5 days a week), at least 4 months, 6 months is preferred

3. Excellent command of English

4. Excellent to use MS – offices, specially excel;

5. Able to deep dive into details and take initiatives for improvement;

6. Able to work under tight deadline;

7. Be self-motivated, patient, reliable with sense of responsibility;

8. Good communication skill and team player, willing to help others.
