The position is for a full-time management accountant, who will report to the finance manager. As a management accountant you will have a role providing day-to-day bookkeeping, preparation of VAT returns, running the monthly payroll function amongst other activities.

Responsibilities:

- day-to-day transaction processing

- preparing complex, international VAT returns and keeping up to date with VAT legislation

- assistance towards the production of management accounts

- assistance towards the production of budgets and forecasts

- balance and sheet reconciliations

- diving continuous improvement/streamlining of processes to make them more time efficient and accurate

- supporting the finance manager.

Qualifications/Experience:

The required person will be a newly qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), they will also have experience working with online bookkeeping software and preparation of VAT returns for a business who operates internationally.

Experience with financial ERPs like NetSuite, Twinfield, etc is required.

The candidate must be motivated to work in a small finance team but be able to communicate well with other people in the company.

For the right candidate the position can be fully remote with an occasional day in the office required. Flexible hours are welcome, as long as all deadlines are met.
