Junior Accountant

Job Overview

Wargaming is looking for a Junior Accountant in the Accounts Payables Department to assist with day-to-day operations. We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic individual who would like to join the company’s Financial Operations Team and support our various operations across the world.

The ideal candidate should have proven accounting knowledge, strong data analysis skills, but at the same time also be a team player and actively contribute to achieve team goals.

Reports to?

This position is based Nicosia, Cyprus, and reports to the Head of Accounts Payables.

What will you do?

• Play an active role in the monthly accounting cycle, recording invoices, payments from various data sources and assist in month closing procedures
• Perform bank Reconciliations
• Perform Vendor reconciliations and efficiently resolve discrepancies that may arise
• Proactively dealing with issues that arise and problem-solving
• Assist in the preparation and filing of VAT reports
• Establish good relationships with both external and internal Vendors to achieve company goals
• Participate in departmental projects and help drive process improvement and efficiency
• Other duties as, delegated from time to time by the Head of Financial Operations or any other person designated in their absence

What are we looking for?

• 1-2 years similar work experience in an accounting focused role
• LCCI Higher with Distinction
• Strong data analysis skills
• Ability to function effectively as part of a team
• Attention to detail with strong organisational skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritise and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, in English
• Skilled in all Microsoft products

What additional skills will help you stand out?

• Knowledge of SAP accounting software will be appreciated
