Accountant

CCP Games is looking for an Accountant to join its Finance and Accounting Team in Reykjavík.

You would be working from our brand-new office Gróska, a state-of-the-art building, located in the melting pot of innovation in Iceland. If you are a detail-oriented individual with good organizational skills that likes working in a group, we would love to see you apply.

Your tasks:

• Recording and maintaining business transaction records, including: accounts payable and receivable, fixed assets and general ledger entries
• Reconciling general and subsidiary ledger accounts detail with external data sources
• Analysis of transactions or balances to ensure completeness and correctness of journals
• Performing various administrative tasks in conjunction with others in the Accounting department
• Be comfortable assisting team in audit processes
• Other task or projects as assigned

Your profile:

• A recent graduate or currently working towards a bachelor’s degree in business preferably in accounting
• Experience in performing bookkeeping duties
• Experience in using Microsoft Dynamic Business Central / Navision a plus
• Strong Excel skills required as well as overall computer skills
• Excellent interpersonal/communication abilities
• Must have excellent time management, organizational and analytical skills
