The opportunity
Unity is looking for an Account Manager to join our high performing Corporate sales team in the UK. As an Account Manager, you are responsible for managing, renewing and upselling into a range of clients in our Gaming vertical. This is an amazing opportunity to help our gaming clients maximise their use of Unitys solution set to help them build, launch and manage the worlds best games.
Essential to success in this role is a keen ability to develop new relationships within your accounts and to penetrate new divisions and organizations within your assigned account list. Unity sells a wide range of products and services for different use cases, so taking an existing use case and becoming an evangelist internally within the client's organisation with a view of identifying new opportunities will be just as important as ensuring your existing relationships are getting the best e return and experience from Unity.
Key metrics will be the renewal and retention, reduction of churn and expansion of revenues from a defined list of accounts. These accounts will sit across multiple industries and will be spread across EMEA. Internal relationships will also be critical - so working in hand with Customer Success, Sales Engineers and Solution Architects will be common practice.
What you'll be doing
- Build close, meaningful relationships to expand and develop new selling opportunities
- Owning the renewal process and building relationships across the entire decision making unit
- Penetrate new divisions and organizations within your account
- Proactive, regular engagement with your accounts
- Creating a territory plan and prioritize your accounts and opportunities
- Communicate business benefits and ROI rationale to the customer
- Engaging with your CSM partner on both “business reviews” and an “account plan”
What we're looking for
- Strong verbal and written communications skills including presentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with employees across functions including CSM, Marketing, Sales Operations, Sales Engineering, and technical engineers
- Experience with target account selling, solution selling, and/or consultative sales techniques
- An aptitude for understanding how technology products and solutions solve business problems as well as the competitive landscape
- Track record of exceeding assigned sales quotas in contiguous, multiple years
You might also have
- 3 to 5 years experiences of Account Management including owning the commercial relationships
- Background in a technology / SaaS environment
- Experience in selling both subscription products and one time services
- Have built either territory plans or account plans
- Exposure to working alongside technical support post sales teams
