ASO (App Store Optimization) Intern (Spring 2021)

Our Los Angeles Publishing team is seeking a data-driven and ambitious student for our Spring 2021 ASO Internship. Within this internship, you will work directly with our App Store Optimization (ASO) team on developing and testing strategies for our ASO efforts across our various titles including Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery, Disney Emoji Blitz, Panda Pop, and many more. You will collaborate with creative and marketing teams on asset ideation and provide input on our organic and paid growth strategies using data and A/B testing methods. We are looking for students who enjoy collaborating cross-functionally, are analytical at heart, and have an interest in the mobile gaming space. Our Spring 2021 program will be entirely remote.
Internship Program Qualifications:
- Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate university program in the U.S. during the Spring 2021 semester and able to intern remotely through April 2021.
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the US on a part-time basis during the Spring 2021 semester. Visa sponsorship is not available for our internship positions.
- Be able to work on a part-time basis (up to 20 hours per week)
- Deadline to apply for our Spring 2021 program is December 1, 2020
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Develop, execute, and track tests for all Jam City games leveraging analytics tools, like SensorTower, App Tweak, StoreMaven, and more
- Create a best practices sheet based on historical tests and learnings that will be used by our central publishing teams
- Research top culturalization opportunities for priority geos for keyword optimization and product page art
- Keep track of ASO industry trends and best practices
- Work with creative services and game team on asset ideation and production
- Conduct competitive analysis and research to keep a pulse on the mobile gaming landscape for keyword ranking and product page art
WHO YOU ARE:
- Must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate college program in the U.S. during the Spring 2021 semester (February 1 - April 9)
- Be able to work on a part-time basis (up to 20 hours per week)
- Passion for online marketing and app store optimization / growth
- Analytics driven and comfortable analyzing data and translating it into actionable insights
- Preference for students coming from Statistics, Business Development, Digital Marketing, or Business-related majors
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
NICE TO HAVE:
- Any experience in previous user acquisition, digital, or social marketing internships
- Experience with creating, monitoring, and documenting A/B tests
- Experience with ASO - optimization methods, growing app installs, etc
About Jam City’s Internship Program:
Jam City’s Spring 2021 Digital Internship Program will take place from February 1 - April 9, 2021 and will be entirely remote. Students can expect a paid, part-time (10 - 20 hours per week) internship working alongside Jam City’s business and studio development teams. Within internships, students gain valuable insights into our products, players, and industry. Our program allows students to work on impactful projects, collaborate with industry professionals, and develop problem solving skills through real hands on experiences.
