POSITION SUMMARY
AP Specialist will assist the team on various tasks and projects to support the Finance team.
This position is a temp to hire position.
Join us at our new campus in Irvine, California where a hybrid work schedule will be observed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process weekly invoices
- Purchase requisition to purchase order conversion according to company policy
- Review and process employee expense reports in accordance with company policy
- Communicate internally with departments and externally with vendors to resolve AP related inquiries/discrepancies
- Match, code and release invoices with PO
- Assist in month, quarter and year end closures
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- In-depth knowledge of accounts payable and general accounting
- Experience with Oracle R12(PO and AP) highly desired
- Experience with Concur
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to analyze and solve problems
- Focused and results driven
- Excellent organizational skills
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- AA or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 2 - 3 years of Accounts Payable and some general accounting experience
