Accounts Payable / Receivable Manager (Fixed term 3 months contract)

T he position

Miniclip is looking for an Accounts Payable / Receivable Manager to lead our shared services finance department in our Lisbon (PT) Office, which provides services to the various Miniclip offices. This is a part-time position, reporting partly to the Head of Operations and Internal Controls and partly to the Accounting & Compliance Manager. The ideal candidate will be someone experienced and comfortable working without direct supervision, in a team leader management role, also with experience of working with teams based in different countries.

What will you do?

This is a varied and exciting role, working with a leading mobile games and entertainment company. You will have the following responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise a team of 5 individuals, assisting with team questions and resolving issues in a timely manner
  • Direct the processing of invoices and payments in order to meet internal and external deadlines
  • Ensure accurate coding of invoices – GL account and Financial Dimensions (Product/Game/Cost Centre/etc.)
  • Ensures the monthly closing of AP/AR and banking ledgers efficiently and accurately
  • Production and analysis of aged debtor and creditor reports
  • Oversee the cash flow reports to be provided to the Head of Tax and Treasury
  • Ensures that inquiries from internal and external stakeholders are appropriately addressed
  • Fosters team spirit and commitment to shared vision and goals
  • Interacts with other departments in problem solving and issue resolution
  • Assists the Accounting & Compliance Manager in fulfilling audit requests
  • Assists the Group Financial Controller as required
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Experience & Skills

  • 3-5 years of experience managing and supervising a Finance Operations team
  • Minimum of High School Diploma
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Results and quality oriented
  • High degree of attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and effectively prioritize tasks
  • Experience in a share service environment
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken (mandatory)
  • Experience of Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus
  • Solid MS Office knowledge (word, excel and outlook)
