Playtika is looking for an AI R&D Group Manager to work within the technology division!
Responsibilities
- Enable team leaders to create an inclusive environment, and coach and drive technical excellence.
- Attract, develop, and retain the best talent in the team, and engage our people effectively to drive clarity and energy in a fast-pacing environment.
- Accountable for the design, implementation, schedule, and delivery, of the ML engineering team’s programs & products.
- Lead the team in adopting relevant new technologies, tools, methods, and processes.
- Support and influence the team culture of being value-centric and continuously improving. Identify and implement engineering best practices.
- Managing and growing engineering teams of highly capable engineers developing a world-class ML platform and services.
- Championing engineering practices that ensure safe and fast-paced releases of AI & Digital Studio programs & features.
- Drive telemetry and analytics to take a data-driven approach to understand services performance & operational metrics.
- Leading Design, Code reviews to ensure a consistently high level of design and implementation.
- Collaborate with engineering experts and architects to build mature service capabilities (telemetry & monitoring, self-healing, and self-service, scalability, etc.)
- Ensuring compliance with security, GDPR, etc., and performance criteria
Requirements
- Hands on experience design and implementation of Big Data pipelines and tech stack (Airflow, Kafka, Spark, Hive etc) -MUST
- 2 years of experience as a team leader
- 3+ years of solid design / Software engineering experience on large/complex applications development using various technologies.
- Strong software engineering skills – design, development, automation, and testing experience in a startup or enterprise environment.
- Good knowledge of Machine Learning Workflow, frameworks, infrastructures and best-practices
- Good knowledge of programming concepts and frameworks (Python – must have, Java – advantage)
- Familiar with continuous integration, unit and functional non-functional testing practices, and continuous deployment systems.
- Familiar with DevOps practices.
