AI Engineer

Playground Games is looking to grow the RPG team with the addition of an AI engineer. As an integral part of the AI team, you will be working with all disciplines to plan and implement AI systems and features at the core of the next Fable experience.

Your skills and passion for AI will enable you to work closely with designers to produce engaging, exciting and innovative gameplay. Your ambition to design and implement high quality AI systems for a AAA project will see you working closely with designers and stakeholders to develop key features of the game.

You will join the team and project at an early stage, giving you the rare opportunity to shape the technology used to build a large-scale AAA title.

Skill Summary:

• Strong C++ and software architecture skills
• Interested in AI techniques and technologies, such as behaviour trees, path-finding, goal-orientated planning, character controllers
• Excellent communication skills
• Proven ability to design and implement re-usable systems
• A passion for games
• Ideally experience on AAA
