크래프톤 Deep Learning 본부에서는 Virtual Human 구현을 위해 필요한 기술을 연구하고 있습니다.
특히 현재는 Virtual Human 의 캐릭터 형성을 위한 Vision 분야 및 감각기관을 담당할 수 있는 Text, Speech Generation 분야의 연구에 주력하고 있습니다.
또한 이러한 딥러닝 기술을 효과적으로 아우를 수 있는 초거대모델 또는 경량화 모델도 연구하고 있습니다.
Deep Learning 본부 인원들은 본인 분야에만 묶여있지 않고 서로 다른 프로젝트 팀원들과 교류 및 협업하여 다양한 문제에 창의적인 아이디어를 제시 할 수 있습니다.
다양한 문화적 배경을 가진 인원들이 모여 팀을 이루고 있으며 활발한 소통을 위해 언어적 장벽을 해소해줄 수 있는 방법들을 적극 지원하고 있습니다.

Team (Group) Introduction
Krafton’s Deep Learning Division is researching technologies required to implement a virtual human.
In particular, we are currently focusing on researching text and speech generation domain which will help build vision and sensory organs in order to build a character of a virtual human.
We are also researching foundation or lightweight models where these deep learning technologies can be effectively applied.
Members in the Deep Learning Division are not tied to their own tasks but are encouraged to actively communicate and collaborate with members from different projects to share creative ideas for various problems.
The teams have members of various cultural backgrounds, and we are providing all the necessary support to lower any language barrier for active communication.
Krafton’s Deep Learning Division, based on AI research, aims to develop our own unique services while collaborating with different in-house teams of various domain.

Responsibilities
- Research and implement the latest computer vision and animation-related deep learning/industry trends that can be applied to the gaming industry
- R&D on 3D avatar generation-related deep learning technology
- R&D on character animation related to deep learning technology
- PoC through planning and implementing a new deep learning-based project
- Implement a toy project/ a demo on game engines such as Unity and Unreal to apply ideas

Requirements
- Experiences in Computer Vision / Animation using Machine Learning / Deep Learning
- Capable of quickly understand, implement, and verify latest computer vision or animation-related ML papers.
- Fluent use of major deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, etc.)
- Fluent level English

- ML/AI 관련 리서치 또는 엔지니어링 프로젝트 리딩 경험
- 게임/IT 업계 근무 경험
- Unity/Unreal 등 게임 엔진 사용 경험
- 문제 설계, 데이터 수집 및 전처리, ML Model 학습 및 평가, 그리고 결과 서빙 및 개선까지의 full cycle 경험
- 문제를 define하고 solve하면서 즐거움을 찾으시는 분.
Preferred Qualifications
- Author of papers accepted in ML/AI/Vision top-tier conferences (SIGGRAPH, CVPR, ICLR, NeurIPS, ICML, ECCV, ICCV, AAAI, IJCAI, etc.
- Experience in leading ML/AI-related research or engineering projects
- Experience in gaming/IT industries
- Experience in using game engines such as Unity/Unreal
- Deep Learning-based computer vision or animation-related project experience
- Experience of a full cycle from defining a problem, collecting and pre-processing data, training and evaluating an ML model, and serving and improving the final output.
- Someone who finds joy in the process of defining and solving problems.
