3D Gameplay Animator

Reporting to the Animation Team Leader, you will produce and integrate high quality animations into our state machine editor for our upcoming ambitious games.

Responsibilities

• Create and deliver quality realistic animations in collaboration with the MOCAP department.
• Participate in the design of animations, including defining references, brainstorming and validating concepts.
• Test and refine your animations, while troubleshooting issues as needed.
• Participate in production and follow-up discussions on the progress of your animations.
• Build motion kits in our state machine.
• Collaborate with other team members to design, document and recommend improvements of our animation systems.
• Share knowledge and provide mentorship to less experienced team members.

Experiences & Qualifications

• Strong 3D animation skills;
• At least 3 years of experience working on a "AAA" video game, or similar experience;
• Strong familiarity with 3D animation tools (Maya and MotionBuilder);
• Technical knowledge of creation and integration of state machines is essential;
• Experience in motion capture and keyframe animation.
