Based out of downtown Los Angeles, Kabam LA is seeking a highly-motivated and talented 3D Character Animator or 3D Generalist to join our Video Team.
This role is a temp contract position for 3-6 months subject to renewal.
Job Duties
- Collaborate with other team members and internal / external stakeholders during all stages of game development, launch and live operations to generate video and motion assets from inception to completion.
- Create 3D animation focused video assets with provided IP footage for marketing, SNS, internal projects, and more.
- The ability to output quality, polished videos with full ownership from animation, to editing, to sound design, and everything in between.
- Familiarity with standard versioning practices and deliverables, including codecs, aspect ratios/resolutions, bitrates, etc.
Requirements
- Video Editing
- Motion Graphics (Creating original graphics, working with pre-existing templates, etc)
- An understanding of camera framing and film language
- Audio Design
- Creating Storyboards
- Experience working with IPs a plus
- Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Working knowledge of Google Workspace, JIRA, Microsoft Excel, and Confluence a plus.
- All capabilities that benefit the role will be taken into account.
Software may be substituted, but comfortable with workflows utilizing:
- Adobe After Effects
- Adobe Premiere
- Unreal Engine/Blender
