3D Character Artist

Keywords Studios Manila looking for a highly experienced and talented 3D Character Artist to join our team in Manila.

As a 3D Character Artist, the individual will work under client specifications and display proficiency with various art styles and tools. They should have a strong eye for AAA visual quality and comprehension in addressing client feedback. They must have appropriate knowledge of art fundamentals dealing with characters.

Requirements

Technical Skills:

• Demonstrate expert modeling and UV skills with a recognized 3D package such as 3ds Max or Maya.
• Has intermediate level in using Z-Brush, Adobe Photoshop, Substance Painter and Designer, and Marmoset Toolbag
• Has intermediate level in character creation and modeling
• Demonstrate knowledge of 3D pipelines and asset management

Behavioral Skills:

• Has a team spirit and cooperation for teamwork
• Exhibits intermediate capability to guide and assist junior artists.
• Has Game art experience: Motivated and passionate about game art, good understanding of AAA requirements
• Demonstrates autonomy, resourcefulness, good time management, rigor, and a positive attitude

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Produce AAA quality 3D assets and textures
• Create character assets assigned by producers
• Produce work that adheres to client specification with minimal guidance
• Display intermediate to advanced knowledge in all the necessary tools
• Problem solving: propose ideas on how we could improve work efficiency
• Communicate ideas and thoughts clearly

Work Experience Requirements:

• At least 3 years as a 3D Artist with a focus on characters
• Prior experience working on published AAA games.
• Showcase a high-quality portfolio demonstrating design and 3D modeling and texturing.
