Job Description
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Organize and maintain a high visual quality for in game weapons
- Work closely with Art Director and Lead Artist to increase the visual quality of weapons
- Work with other disciplines to push what’s possible in the game engine and resolve issues
- Fix bugs large and small, while understanding how these changes can affect other disciplines
- Help define and prove out available technology to support post launch features
Qualifications
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Strong skills in Maya and Substance Painter; proficient with Photoshop
- Experience with P4
- Mid level of experience with game engines like Unreal or Unity
- Experience of UV workflow
- Excellent communication skills and organization
- Good drawing skills. Excellent eye for color, shape and composition
- Understanding of the game development process
- Knowledge of art techniques for advanced optimization
- Ability to understand technical implementations and limitations
- Passion for the industry and an understanding of market trends and styles
- Ability to work well with a team, and also organized and independent
- Being capable of self-management, accurately estimating time to complete tasks, giving realistic, achievable timescales and managing priorities to meet deadlines
