Jam City is looking for a talented and experienced 3D Artist to join the Culver City Studio. The ideal candidate will show a diverse portfolio of recent work that displays a high level of ability in modeling and texturing characters, environments, and prop assets, as well as high competency with lighting, texture maps and shaders in Unity and Maya.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Model and texture 3D characters, environments and props that are production ready and optimized for mobile devices
• Consistently deliver high quality 3D artwork in an efficient manner for a past paced development environment
• Prepare and integrate assets into the Unity game engine
• Work closely with Art Leads to ensure unified look and consistent quality across game environments

REQUIREMENTS

• A passion for playing and making amazing games
• Capable of owning the entire Modeling, Texturing and Shading Pipeline
• Highly experienced in Maya (or 3D modeling package), Photoshop and Z-Brush Experience with Substance Designer and Substance Painter a plus!
• Expert in high and low poly modeling and strong knowledge of various texturing workflows
• Strong traditional art and design skills and production experience (illustration, painting, organic forms and color theory)
• Ability to design and hand paint stylized art assets
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Actively improves skill set and abilities by keeping aware of industry trends and techniques, and learning new software packages
