Role Overview
As our 3D Artist, you will be primarily responsible for reviewing externally-created art assets, as well as creating original art assets for our newest game, Design Home - an innovative game/platform of home decor. You will work closely with the Content Production team to help set and maintain high visual standards in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
You’ll be a great fit for this role if you have:
- Excellent modeling and texturing skills
- Keen eye for detail, lighting, and color in realistically rendered objects and environments
- An eye for design, strong creative sensibility, a clear sense of style and polish, refined taste, and discerning eye for luxury
- Strong knowledge of design trends, furniture, fixture & equipment (FF&E), architectural/interior finishes, lighting, art signage, color, and materials
- Previous experience in game art production, ideally for mobile devices
- Passion for all things related to home decor and interior design would be a big plus!
And your skills and experience include:
- 3+ years experience building 3D content for mobile devices
- Proficiency in 3D modeling tools and PBR pipeline and Substance Painter, ideally with experience in the Maya environment
- Excellent knowledge of Photoshop and the Adobe Creative Suite
- Demonstrable understanding of the process of creating real-world objects and environments
- Familiarity with the Unity engine is a big plus, especially for the development of mobile apps
- Great writing skills and ability to provide clear and concise written feedback to off-site art teams
- Love of creative collaboration and ability to take direction well
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
