3C Game Designer (all seniorities)

IO Interactive is currently looking for a full-time Senior Game Designer to join Project 007, a brand new James Bond video game to be developed and published by IOI.
Featuring a wholly original Bond story, players will step into the shoes of the world's favourite Secret Agent to earn their 00 status in the very first James Bond origin story.

You will be involved in all aspects of the production from initial design of content and features to finalizing the in-game implementation of these. You will in most cases own specific features and you’re expected to always strive for high quality and setting new standards for entertainment in games.

What you will do

Collaborate with the directors, leads and design team to develop and execute the overall vision of the game
Actively working with level designers, gameplay programmers and gameplay animators to implement experiences and features though all stages of production
Use our proprietary tools to design, prototype and test gameplay mechanics while identifying opportunities for improvements with a focus on 3C gameplay systems
Create new gameplay systems while balancing and finetuning existing core gameplay features
Own areas of special expertise within the game design domain in agreement with leads and game management (E.g. 3C’s, core gameplay and/or AI)
Deliver content within quality requirements, on schedule, and within technical limitations

Who you are

You have shipped 2 – 3 AAA games as a game designer with focus on 3C’s capacity within design
You’re analytically minded and organized which means you have a good understanding of what it takes to go from initial concept to a full, fun and functional game experiences
You possess a problem-solving attitude, able to look past immediate technical constraints
Self-motivated towards solving creative problems and technical challenges
Understand how to work effectively within a highly iterative process
A deep passion and enthusiasm for making and playing games, and a good understanding of the competitive landscape
The ability to communicate effectively with a multicultural and multidisciplinary team where English is the primary language
