2D Junior Unity Animator

Inspired by minimalist art, Dots was created with the notion that beauty and fun are not mutually exclusive. Now as part of the Take Two Interactive family and a successful studio, o ur goal is to provide the world with engaging and stylish daily play experiences. We need a 2D Junior Unity Animator who can help us bring life into our various features in development, to join our diverse, multi-talented team.
This is a Full Time role starting in August 2022 .
In this position you will:
- Be a member of the Two Dots Art team that creates and implements Scavenger Hunts, saga maps, new mechanics’, and every new feature’s art and animations
- Work alongside the Visual Design team and Engineering department.
- Be responsible for importing, animating and optimizing Scavenger Hunt and saga map art assets in Unity.
- Collaborate with the greater cross-functional Two Dots team and report to the Two Dots Art Director.
We will be a great match if you:
- Are fluent in Unity 2D / 3D.
- Are experienced in 2D animations.
- Have a sharp eye for precise, pixel perfect art and animations.
- Have good knowledge of mobile optimization best practices.
- Have excellent communication skills – ability to follow directions and collaborate with others.
- Have basic knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator and file exporting best practices.
- Are a quick learner in a fast paced environment.
We look forward to seeing examples of past experience in at least two of the following:
- Exceptional 2D animation work in Unity – motion graphics, particles, characters, etc.
- Experience optimizing scenes for mobile games in Unity.
- Experience in creating shaders for Unity.
- BA / BFA in Digital Art, BS in Computer Science, or equivalent 2-4 years minimum work experience in the field.
