2D Design Support Assistant

Rockstar India is on the lookout for talented 2D Design Support Assistants who possess a passion for Graphic Design and want to be involved in the production of 2D assets and documentation. This is a full-time permanent position based out of Rockstar’s unique game development studio in Bangalore, India, with a broad remit supporting our 2D team to deliver a wide variety of graphics for in game, web, and marketing departments.

WHAT WE DO

• We create in-world 2D assets such as; brands, signage, illustrations, clothing designs, and interior assets to help craft the worlds we make across all titles.
• We collaborate with various departments such as Art, UI, Marketing, and Web, supporting all aspects of development and promotion.
• We maintain our world brands, asset libraries, and style guidelines aimed at ensuring consistency across our titles.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the Graphic Design team in the production of assets for the game.
• Maintain internal documentation and libraries.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 1+ years’ experience in a design environment, or in a similar capacity within the games industry.
• A portfolio demonstrating an ability to work across a range of visual styles.

SKILLS

• Proficiency with Adobe CC: Photoshop, Illustrator, and MS Office.
• Strong eye for detail and artistic aesthetic.
• Good organizational skills.
• Passion for Rockstar Games and our franchises.
• An active interest in graphic design.

PLUSES

Please note that these are desirable skills and are not required to apply for the position.

• Experience working with Photoshop scripts and actions.
• Experience working with Confluence and Perforce.
• 3D knowledge – 3Dmax / Cinema 4D including plugins and 3rd party render experience.
• Passion for playing and making games.
