Senior 2D Artist

Job Overview

Wargaming Kyiv is seeking a Senior 2D Artist for the World of Tanks team.
In this role, you will be tasked with the visual development of our games. You will collaborate closely with art directors, game designers, and developers to bring creating illustrations and interface assets that align with the game's narrative and visual style. Your artistic vision and expertise will help define the unique and captivating experience our players will explore

What will you do?

• Create 2D art assets according to the games current art style. Such as concepts, illustrations and UI assets.
• Work in a collaborative environment. Not only with the art team, but also with UX team, historical consultants, developers, etc.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior artists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and artistic excellence.

What are we looking for?

• 3+ years of experience in game development industry and love for computer games
• Proficiency with Photoshop
• Strong illustration and artistic skills, with a keen eye for form, color, and composition.
• Ability to match the style of World of Tanks
• Time management and ability to work within deadlines
• Ability to take and give constructive feedback
• Organized and clean workflow

What additional skills will help you stand out?

• Willingness to incorporate new tools and to be creative about workflows to efficiently produce production content
• Experience with 3D modelling (3ds Max, Maya, Blender, Zbrush)
• Intermediate English or higher

Work mode

Onsite

Hybrid (2-3 days of work from the office)

Remote (from anywhere within the selected country/EU)
