You are an amazing and unique sort who understands the difference between chartreuse and lime, shudders when faced with badly composed art, and has Photoshop and Illustrator as “Open at login” on your computer - because you illustrate for fun and passion, not because you have to. You are adventurous enough to try the oddest flavour in an ice cream shop (like Curry or Durian!), just like you have a passion to try out different illustration styles. And you love adding new skill sets to your toolbox. Although you are a creative mind who likes to put the headphones on and drift into your own world, you also believe organizing meetings and appointments on your calendar is fun, and get great satisfaction when scratching an item off of a to-do list.
We are a growing team filled with talented nerdy individuals and are looking to add another fun, passionate person to our quirky but loving family in Live Operations as an Artist.
As a Live Ops Artist , you will collaborate with the Live Operations team to create illustration assets for any in-game offers, events and messages. As far as everyday challenges go, you will be thinking about what kind of amazing illustrations our users want to see, and how we can showcase the game characters in a way that emphasizes the exceptional work our 3D artists have done, but also speaks to our players in a meaningful way that they can emotionally connect with. You should also have a good understanding of how information should be presented, and how we can advertise certain promotions to our end users.
As a Live Ops Artist, you will contribute by:
- Communicating and collaborating with the team across multiple disciplines.
- Painting-over the 3D renders made by the Art department to create alluring in-game banners.
- Creating some of the UI illustrations that will appear in-game.
- Sketching Character poses to create intriguing mock-ups for new banners.
- Matching 3D renders, backgrounds and FX to develop your vision in every banner
- Being passionate about digital painting and illustration in general.
- Being organized and taking pride in completing assigned tasks.
- Being open to learning and enhancing your toolbox.
