Commerical Analyst, EMEA Growth Strategy (London, UK / Dublin, IE)

Commercial Analyst - 6 month FTC

Role Purpose:

This role will is working with the Growth Strategy team that looks after the title P&L, business growth strategy, and commercial operations globally. We partner across the organisation to align on business objectives and then execute against them with efficiency. This role will focus on the high-profile NBA2K franchise. This role is a 6 month FTC.

The Commercial Analyst will be instrumental in providing data, insights and analyses to help drive growth of the NBA2K franchise across EMEA. They will provide & analyse data to track game performance, work on financial modelling to underpin regional growth strategies, and assist with communicating findings and recommendations. They will report directly into the EMEA Director of Growth Strategy and work closely with both the global Growth Strategy team and various functional teams across EMEA.

We are looking for someone who is highly analytical and detail oriented, demonstrates expertise in query development, and is familiar with analysing & synthesising data and reporting out findings to a wide range of partners.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, verify and analyse internal and external data on game performance and opportunities
• Navigate and query the wide span of databases that are key to the NBA2K business (unit sales, revenue, in-game telemetry, player segments, user migration, etc.)
• Help build financial models, using internal and external data, to estimate the size of growth opportunities
• Create reports and presentations that summarise findings and recommendations for a broad audience
• Work closely with global Growth Strategy team and regional functional teams including marketing, sales, analytics, live services and finance

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Experience with data analysis and crafting insights, preferably in a fast paced digital business (e.g. video games, e-commerce, subscription businesses, live-services and/or mobile in-app economies)
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant area of study (e.g. business, economics, (computer) science, mathematics)
• A knack for data quality assurance and a keen eye for when ‘the numbers don’t look right’
• High attention to detail and dedication to quality and accuracy
• Integrity in your work and ability to effectively navigate a global organisation
• Excellent ability to work with all teams across the business with experience working across various levels of the organisation and personality types
• Experience working in the video games industry is not required, but familiarity with gaming is a plus
