Senior Full Stack Engineer - Bots & Spam
As a Senior Full Stack Engineer on the Bots & Spam team, you will help us to improve the Roblox experience by combating bad actors on the platform. The role will be 50/50 frontend / backend work. You will own most of the front end features related to bot mitigation, which includes captcha and client-side bot signals. The Bots & Spam pod applies ML techniques and anomaly detection to identify bots in near real-time. If you are an engineer who is passionate about solving hard problems, helping users, and building features on a global, scalable platform, the Bots & Spam team might be the perfect fit.
You Are:
- A full stack engineer with 3+ years of working experience
- Interested in both frontend and backend development
- Experienced with UI scripting languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, or Lua
- Fluent in compiled languages such as Golang, Java or C#
- Focused on writing clear, readable, testable, and monitored code
- A collaborative team member
- Interested in user identity or security
You Might Have:
- Familiarity with UI frameworks
- Experience developing on Android or iOS platforms
- Working knowledge of REST or gRPC APIs
