Kavalri’s first title, Equestrian the Game, has thrilled players globally, reaching top charts, high player counts, and praise from the community. Now, we're looking for a Senior Producer to join our close-knit team and lead the charge in driving our new and upcoming project to success.
As a Senior Producer, you'll play a pivotal role in steering the successful development and delivery of the project. Your leadership, organizational expertise, and deep understanding of game development processes will be crucial in ensuring our project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Additionally, you'll serve as an important role model for the team, embodying our values and leading by example in fostering collaboration, professionalism, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of all aspects of game development projects, including translating business requirements to functional/technical requirements. Develop and maintain detailed production schedules, identifying key milestones and dependencies.
- Team Coordination: Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including artists, designers, programmers, and QA testers to ensure seamless communication and coordination throughout the development process.
- Resource Allocation: Allocate resources effectively, balancing the needs of multiple projects while optimizing team productivity and efficiency. Identify and address any potential bottlenecks or resource constraints.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify potential risks and challenges that may impact project delivery timelines or quality. Develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address these risks as they arise.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, including senior management, creative leads, and external partners. Provide regular updates on project progress, milestones, and any changes to scope or schedule.
- Budget Management: Work closely with studio management to develop project budgets and track expenditures throughout the development lifecycle. Identify opportunities to optimize spending and maximize ROI.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvements and best practices within the production team. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- People Management: Manage direct reports by having one-on-one meetings, quarterly check-ins and helping to assess performance. Mentor and support other producers in their career path. Be a proactive part of the management team, support studio management in communicating and executing change.
Requirements
- Have 6+ years experience as a game producer, with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Experience in producing console/PC games
- Are independent and ambitious, and take initiatives to improve our release cycle.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
- Experience in leading teams using agile methodologies
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Good to have:
- Hands-on development experience in any development area; art, design, programming, QA, etc.
- Experience in producing mobile games
