Junior Event Fulfillment Associate

Community Gaming is seeking a proactive individual to join our team as a Junior Event Fulfillment Associate. This role will play a pivotal part in the seamless execution of Community Gaming events, including esports tournaments and leagues, from inception through post-event activities. Reporting to the Global Event Operations Manager, the ideal candidate has an inherent passion for esports and learning about what it takes to produce high quality events.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to facilitate the development and execution of events and tournaments, both online and in-person.
• Research and implement best tournament formats and regulations for esports events relevant to the genre and title.
• Create and manage tournament pages on the Community Gaming website.
• Prepare comprehensive event documentation and reports.
• Identify and engage with contractors and talent for events.
• Provide prompt assistance to inquiries through the help desk.
• Coordinate effectively with teams and players to manage tournament schedules and game-day requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of match results.
• Uphold tournament rules and regulations, mediating disputes, and issuing competitive rulings as necessary.
• Availability to work some weekend hours and potential travel, depending on the scope of the event.

Preferred Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of various game developers and esports titles across different platforms (PC, Console, Mobile) and genres (AAA, web3, FPS, MOBA, Battle Royale, etc.), with a willingness to expand expertise.
• Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling them to effectively engage with both prospective and existing clients, as well as key stakeholders within Community Gaming.
• Expertise in esport tournament brackets and formats.
• Exceptional attention to detail in all aspects of event and tournament management.
• Ability to enforce tournament rules impartially and diplomatically.
• Proficiency in gaming/esport-related platforms such as Twitch, Kick, Discord, YouTube, Facebook, etc.
• Availability to work in alignment with EST time zone

Bonus Qualifications

• Prior experience in Tournament Officiating and Event Management with a live broadcast either online or in-person.
• Familiarity with Monday.com or similar project management platforms.
• Understanding of Blockchain and the Web3 Gaming Industry.
• Active engagement in the esports community.
