We're working on our next game and looking for great developers and artists that share our passion for building original and outstanding VR gameplay experiences.

Are you passionate about telling stories and creating unique and memorable experiences through gameplay? Greensky Games is looking for a spirited Game Designer to help define the industry standard creating one of a kind VR gameplay experiences to a growing audience.

As a Game Designer with Greensky Games you will create and elaborate the core principles of the game, developing new mechanics and original concepts. You will help the team push through technological, production, and creative boundaries; tweaking and tuning until a magical and engaging player experience emerges.

• The annual base pay range for this role is between $50,000.00 and $110,000.00 CAD + benefits, + profit-sharing.

Call of Duties:

• Designing, directing, and iterating on game systems that deliver amazing player experiences
• Working collaboratively with other disciplines to bring out the best ideas, translating them into compelling prototypes
• Inventing, extending, and maintaining design processes, tools, and workflows
• Adapt to technical and production constraints, reworking your design when and as often as needed
• Participate in finding solutions to fix buggy features
• Create and maintain design documentation that will guide the teams
• Follow up on features post-launch to improve, add, or remove components

Unlocked Abilities:

• Serious passion for VR games and knowledge of VR gameplay & design patterns
• Self-motivated and eager to contribute in many different areas of development
• One or more shipped titles using Unity
• Experience building and iterating on game content in Unity via Inspector, Scene Editor, and other editor GUI tools
• Strong ability to deconstruct high-level gameplay systems into specific technical details, features and tasks
• Strong communication skills and clear design documentation skills
• Critical thinking, curiosity, resourcefulness, and plenty of flexibility
• An innovative, empathetic, and collaborative spirit

Power Ups:

• Passionate about VR games and familiar with VR design patterns
• Experience with Oculus Quest and other VR headsets
• Experience working at an indie studio
• You are drawn to challenges, willing to climb Mount Everest with our team and wont stop till we all reach the top together (in VR of course)
